Bethany & Chris here - hello 👋 and welcome - we are so happy you are visiting our site!
Holdxyz, LLC was founded in 2024, but more on that below. Both Bethany and Chris grew up in Baltimore County, MD - five minutes from each other, actually - but we didn't meet until 2021, and didn’t begin dating until 2024 after this whole invention thing started. Growing up spending time on Maryland's Eastern Shore was something Chris & Bethany were both fortunate to experience. Throughout our lives, we have always gravitated to the outdoors - crabbing, fishing, camping, and simply embracing sunshine on our skin with an appreciation for nature! Enjoying the diverse landscape Maryland has to offer, especially our beautiful CHESAPEAKE BAY, is something special to both of us!

IT ALL STARTED WITH CHAPSTICK! On vacation, Bethany pointed out that having a place for her spf chapstick while in a swimsuit had been a lifelong struggle - first world problems, right? Chris, a career problem solver, came up with a solution on the fly and about a year - and lots of hard work - later, we introduced HOLDXYZ in March 2024! We are finding our place, working hard every day to grow, and are committed to making a quality product that can make your life just a little simpler. We have so many more ideas and we can't wait to share them with you!
So many of our adventures revolve around the water! Summer ‘24 we caught, steamed, & ate crabs (and corn) while boating on the Chesapeake Bay. It was an epic day and something we had never heard of anyone doing before!
